Stock Receiver

Dymocks Melbourne, the biggest and busiest book shop in Melbourne is looking for an experienced, full-time Stock Receiver.

The successful applicant will need sound computer skills and have the ability to think laterally. 

Due to the fact that this position involves unpacking and moving boxes the applicant will also need to be physically fit and able to lift boxes in excess of 12kgs.

As a Full-time stock receiver, you will be:

• Experienced in high volume stock dispatch or stock receiving.

• Taking delivery of product and moving it efficiently from the loading bay to the backroom. 

• Ensure all incoming stock is received, checked, and processed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Adhere to OH & S policies and procedures.

• Able to work independently but also collaboratively in a team environment and have a cheerful, can-do attitude.

• Comfort with being on your feet, lifting book cartons, and safely navigating stockroom spaces.

Prior warehouse experience is essential.

Prior experience with Bookstore & Advanced Retail applications are looked on favorably. 

The position is Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM

38 Hours per week. 

(Extra weekend hours may be required at peak times throughout the year especially in the lead up to Christmas).
