Recruitment + Employer Brand + Community Engagement

We’re growing quickly and looking for someone with plenty of energy, creativity and initiative to help us find great people and build a strong community around our field sales team.

This isn’t your typical recruitment role.

You’ll be out meeting people, building relationships, creating content, connecting with communities around Sydney and finding new ways to attract people to Clean Power Australia. You’ll also own the recruitment journey from first conversation through to onboarding and those important first few weeks with the team.

Our Solar Advisors are a social and ambitious field-based team working across Australia. We’re looking for someone who understands how to connect with that market and can help us build a recruitment experience and employer brand that genuinely reflects what it’s like to work here.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of growing our Solar Advisor team through a mix of recruitment, community engagement and employer branding.

Day to day, that could mean:

  • Finding and engaging candidates through social media, job boards, referrals, community groups and direct outreach

  • Getting out into Sydney and building relationships with backpackers, travellers and other relevant communities such as hostels etc

  • Speaking with candidates, running initial screening calls and coordinating interviews and assessment sessions

  • Supporting new starters through contracts, onboarding, induction and their first few weeks

  • Spending time with our Solar Advisors in the field to understand the role and stay connected with the team

  • Capturing authentic content around our people, travel, training, competitions, career opportunities and day-to-day life at CPA

  • Helping grow our employer brand and social presence

  • Coming up with recruitment campaigns, events, referral initiatives and new ways to reach candidates

  • Tracking where our best candidates come from, recruitment activity, new starters and early retention

  • Gathering feedback and continuously improving the candidate and onboarding experience

Who we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need years of recruitment experience.

You might come from recruitment, sales, hospitality, events, marketing, community engagement or another people-focused environment. What matters more is that you’re confident approaching people, naturally build relationships and are willing to get involved.

You’ll probably thrive here if you’re outgoing, organised, creative and comfortable taking ownership. You should enjoy being around people and be just as happy getting out into the community or spending time with the sales team as you are managing a recruitment pipeline.

You’ll need to be proactive. We don’t want someone waiting for applications to arrive. We want someone who is constantly thinking about where our next great hire could come from and how we can make Clean Power Australia a company people want to join.

The role is based from our Mascot office, but it won’t keep you behind a desk. Expect regular time out with our teams and around Sydney, particularly the Eastern Suburbs, CBD and other areas where our candidate communities are.

If you’re a people person who loves building relationships, creating things and making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
