Join Redsbaby, Australia's leading pram brand, as our next Creative Manager, and own the creative vision behind one of Australia's most loved baby brands.

We have an exciting, market-leading product roadmap, with multiple major launches next year, and need a talented creative to bring our brands and products to life.

About the role

This is a hands on role for someone who wants real ownership over brand and creative rather than a seat at the edge of it. You'll report directly into our Managing Director, who has a genuine passion for design and brand, and you'll have a direct report of your own. You set the direction, then get it made, backing bold creative ideas with the commercial results to justify them.

What you'll do

• Evolve and own Redsbaby's creative identity, keeping it distinctive and consistent across every channel

• Prepare and present creative concepts for product launches, promotions and brand campaigns

• Design and produce creative assets across digital (social, website, email, paid) and offline (print, packaging, events and point of sale)

• Lead art direction for photoshoots and video productions

• Manage production end to end, including suppliers, quotations, shot lists and post production briefs for image retouching and video editing

• Select and liaise with talent and agencies to book them in for shoots and campaigns

• Brief, manage and quality control external suppliers and offshore designers, building a supplier bench that can scale with the business

• Manage the creative budget, making cost and quality tradeoffs without compromising the brand

• Work closely with our Managing Director and Senior Marketing Manager to review what's working and refine what isn't

• Mentor and manage a direct report, and train offshore designers to a consistent creative standard

• Stay ahead of design trends and new tools so Redsbaby's visual identity leads the category rather than follows it

• Proactively research AI tools that can drive efficiencies and assist in achieving the objectives of the role, from speeding up production, to ideation through to retouching and editing, putting forward recommendations for new platforms and testing and adopting the ones that work

We're proactively adopting AI across the business, and you'll be a part of that. AI doesn't replace creative at Redsbaby, it supports it. We use AI tools to speed up process and production, but we're not hiring an AI operator: you'll still be the one owning the strategy, directing the shoot, making the creative call and putting your name on the work.

About you

• Strong experience in a creative leadership role (Creative Manager, Senior Designer or Art Director stepping up), ideally in a brand, retail or DTC environment

• A genuine passion for the baby category and the Redsbaby brand

• A portfolio that shows both strong conceptual thinking and hands on execution, not just oversight

• Proven experience managing external suppliers or offshore creative resources, including briefing and quality control

• Comfortable owning a budget and making commercial tradeoffs, not just creative ones

• Strong technical skills across the Adobe Creative Suite, with motion/video experience highly regarded

• Background or interest in eCommerce, and an understanding of how creative needs to work across digital touchpoints, not just in a deck

• Experience using AI tools is highly regarded
