Junior to Intermediate Accountant - Business Services and Tax

About the Role

You will be an integral part of a growing team, with an opportunity to work closely and with direct contact with the manager and partners of the firm. You will also be encouraged to manage client relationships whilst managing the following tasks:

• Completing Individual Tax Returns

• Completing Business Activity Statements

• Completing year-end Financial Accounts and Income Tax Returns (for all entity types)

• Preparing business analytical data (financial ratio’s, benchmarking, tax planning, etc)

• Xero accounting software tasks

• Bookkeeping and other Virtual CFO services 

• Completing all other statutory compliance requirements

• Liaising with government bodies

• Liaising with clients on software consultancy matters

• Providing input on strategy, marketing and processes to assist growing the business in the right direction

• Work on challenging clients and kick start your accounting career

About the Applicant

We are seeking highly motivated and driven individuals. To be successful you will have the following attributes and qualifications:

• Degree Qualified (Major in Accounting 1+ years experience) 

• Experience with Xero favourable

• Highly skilled with Microsoft Office

• Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be target driven

• Ability to learn quickly and work under instruction from senior accountants

• Confident, well presented, self-motivated, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
