We're looking for a customer-focused and engaging Customer Service Consultant to join our CareComplete team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week, for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting eligible Medibank members to access a free health and wellbeing program designed to improve their health outcomes.

This role is primarily focused on customer service and member engagement, with most of your time spent speaking with members over the phone. You'll assist eligible members through the enrolment journey, answer questions, provide guidance on the program and help create positive experiences with every interaction. While there is some administration involved, the focus of the role is building rapport with members, supporting enrolments and delivering outstanding service.

We're looking for someone who can commence immediately, enjoys talking to people, is comfortable working towards service outcomes, and thrives in a supportive team environment.

You might already have the skills for this role if you...

  • Have experience in a customer service, contact centre, sales support or member engagement role
  • Enjoy speaking with customers and building positive relationships over the phone
  • Are confident managing inbound and outbound calls
  • Communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically
  • Can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Are comfortable learning new systems and processes
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills
  • Enjoy working in a structured environment while adapting to changing priorities
  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer support
  • Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Are motivated by helping customers access services that can positively impact their wellbeing

What you'll be doing

  • Speaking with eligible members and supporting them through the enrolment process
  • Managing inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Answering member enquiries and providing information about the CareComplete program
  • Building strong relationships with members through positive and engaging conversations
  • Supporting enrolment targets through proactive member outreach
  • Maintaining accurate customer records across multiple systems
  • Processing enrolments and completing associated administration tasks
  • Managing enquiries received through shared team mailboxes
  • Following established processes and compliance requirements
  • Contributing to positive customer and health outcomes for our members
