About the Role

Financial Pathfinders is a specialist financial planning practice based in the Perth CBD. Our work is built around finding a way through complex financial scenarios, digging deep into each client’s circumstances and developing practical, well-considered strategies that support strong long-term outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner who enjoys the technical aspects, takes pride in thorough advice preparation, and is comfortable working across diverse client needs including superannuation, investments, insurance, retirement planning, estate planning and international advice matters

Key Responsibilities

·         ADVICE DELIVERY. Including Statements of Advice, Records of Advice and supporting documentation in-house and via outsourced partners. Perfecting the compliance framework within templates.

·         Develop and document advice strategies across superannuation, retirement planning, investment portfolios, insurance, estate planning and wealth management.

·         Work closely with advisers to understand each client scenario, identify strategy options and help shape advice that is technically sound, practical and clearly explained.

·         Research products, platforms and structures, complete financial modelling where required, and support advisers in navigating complex advice matters.

·         Maintain strong compliance standards and ensure advice documents meet regulatory and licensee requirements.

·         Contribute to process improvements, templates and workflow efficiencies within the advice team ideally with PlutoSoft experience.

About You

·         Previous experience in a senior paraplanning role within an Australian financial planning practice.

·         Strong technical knowledge of advice strategies, compliance requirements and financial planning processes.

·         Be self-organised, and able to take ownership and responsibility of the role

·         Experience preparing complex advice documents and supporting advisers with strategy development. You will be curious and a keen researcher.

·         High attention to detail, strong written communication, forward thinking, and with the ability to make solution-oriented improvements of your own initiative

·         Confidence using financial planning software, with PlutoSoft experience highly regarded
