ACRRM is seeking a Service Desk Officer to provide frontline IT support services across the organisation. Reporting to the Technical Support Analyst and Trainer, you will play a key role in ensuring staff and members receive responsive, professional and high-quality technical support across ACRRM's technology ecosystem.

The Service Desk Officer is responsible for delivering first-level support across a range of business applications, systems and devices, with a particular focus on the Microsoft 365 environment. You will support day-to-day operations, manage incidents and service requests, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain a reliable and secure technology environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the organisation while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of IT services and support practices.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Service Desk operations and incident management
  • End-user support across hardware, software and business systems
  • Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID and Intune
  • Networking and connectivity support
  • IT asset management and device lifecycle support
  • Knowledge management and continuous improvement
  • Vendor coordination and service monitoring
  • Stakeholder engagement and customer service

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in an IT Help Desk, Service Desk or Desktop Support role
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID and Microsoft Intune
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11 environments, hardware, software and connectivity issues
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using remote support tools and service management systems
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
