Finance Manager | Immediate Start

This is a broad and highly visible role for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys operating across financial control, Australian tax, reporting, systems and process improvement.

As the business continues to scale, you will play a key role in strengthening the finance function, improving reporting and controls, and ensuring the business has the systems and processes required to support its next phase of growth. 
 
Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership across a broad range of finance responsibilities, including: 

• Ownership of Australian tax compliance and related obligations; 
• Financial reporting, month-end and year-end close; 
• Maintaining a strong financial control environment; 
• Preparation and review of management reporting; 
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis;  
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls; 
• Driving finance systems improvements and automation;  
• Working with stakeholders across the business to improve data, reporting and processes; 
• Supporting the implementation of new systems and initiatives as the business evolves; and 
• Partnering with senior leadership on a range of commercial and strategic finance projects. 

You will be a hands-on and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys variety and is comfortable taking ownership. 
 
Ideally, you will bring: 

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent; 
• Strong financial accounting and control experience; 
• Solid knowledge of Australian taxation; 
• Experience with financial reporting and month-end processes; 
• A genuine interest in systems, automation and process improvement;  
• The ability to operate autonomously while partnering effectively with stakeholders; and 
• A proactive, curious approach and willingness to get involved across the broader finance function.
