Join Aeralife and play a key role in supporting the technology and systems that underpin our residential aged care communities. Based at our Support Office in Hawthorn, you'll work across infrastructure, business systems, reporting, cybersecurity and end-user support to ensure reliable, secure and effective technology services across the organisation.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the IT Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Aeralife's IT systems, infrastructure and business applications, ensuring reliable service delivery across multiple sites.

You will work closely with operational teams, system owners, vendors and external partners to provide technical support, improve system performance, develop reporting solutions and contribute to technology initiatives that support the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support across systems, hardware, software, networks and business applications
  • Troubleshoot system, application and data issues, identifying root causes and implementing practical solutions
  • Support networking, cybersecurity, mobile device management (MDM) and remote support tools
  • Assist with the administration, maintenance and optimisation of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Develop and enhance reporting solutions, data models and analytics capabilities
  • Utilise tools such as SQL, SSIS, PowerShell, Python and Power BI to support reporting and business insights
  • Support system documentation, process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement technology solutions
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to support effective service delivery and system enhancements
  • Provide onsite IT support, installations and user training across Aeralife homes as required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technology projects across the business

About You

We're looking for a proactive and solutions-focused IT professional who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes and can confidently support a diverse range of stakeholders across the organisation.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in systems administration, business systems support and/or IT operations.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and reporting technologies, with experience using Power BI, SSIS, PowerShell, Python or similar tools.
  • Experience with data integration, data warehousing, analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity principles, Microsoft 365 technologies and device management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Highly Regarded

  • Experience within aged care, healthcare or community services.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations and geographically dispersed users.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, mobile device management and cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with IT governance, documentation standards and change management processes.
  • Membership of relevant IT professional associations or ongoing professional development activities.
