About the role

The Finance business unit provides financial analysis on the various aspects of the organisation, financial planning for the future, tender costing, advice and other advisory services to drive Mind Australia’s business strategy and growth to ensure financial sustainability and agility

We are seeking a self-motivated Finance Analyst for a permanent, fulltime opportunity. You will be responsible for delivering financial analysis, reporting, modelling, forecasting and planning support across multiple business portfolios. You will provide flexible analytical support, adapt to changing business requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial planning, reporting and business intelligence capability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial models, forecasts, scenario analysis and planning tools.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
• Consolidate and analyse financial information from multiple sources.
• Review planning assumptions and identify anomalies requiring further investigation.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards and management information.

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA, CA or CIMA qualified or actively working towards completion.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, management accounting, FP&A or commercial finance.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyse large and complex datasets and present findings clearly.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability including Power Query and financial modelling
