Join the Specialist Clinics team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and play an important role in helping patients navigate their outpatient care.
Supporting over 195,000 attendances each year, you'll be a key point of contact for patients and referrers, coordinating appointments, managing referrals and responding to enquiries across a diverse range of services.
This is an opportunity for an organised, customer-focused administrator who enjoys working with people, managing competing priorities and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver a high standard of customer service across face-to-face, telephone and online interactions.
- Support patients and clinicians with a range of administrative requirements.
- Register, process and maintain accurate referral and patient information.
- Coordinate appointments and contribute to effective waitlist management and auditing.
- Respond to enquiries, including through HealthHub.
- Maintain accurate data entry and documentation.
- Work within relevant policies and procedures for referral management in Victorian public health services.
