Customer Service Clerk

Join the Specialist Clinics team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and play an important role in helping patients navigate their outpatient care.

Supporting over 195,000 attendances each year, you'll be a key point of contact for patients and referrers, coordinating appointments, managing referrals and responding to enquiries across a diverse range of services.

This is an opportunity for an organised, customer-focused administrator who enjoys working with people, managing competing priorities and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver a high standard of customer service across face-to-face, telephone and online interactions.
• Support patients and clinicians with a range of administrative requirements.
• Register, process and maintain accurate referral and patient information.
• Coordinate appointments and contribute to effective waitlist management and auditing.
• Respond to enquiries, including through HealthHub.
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation.
• Work within relevant policies and procedures for referral management in Victorian public health services.
