Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team and play an important role in supporting the Financial Controller across a broad range of finance and accounting responsibilities. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, compliance, month-end processes and the day-to-day operations of the finance function while working within a collaborative and supportive team.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reporting.

• Supporting month end and year end close processes.

• Performing reconciliations, including bank and intercompany reconciliations where required.

• Assisting with cash flow reporting and forecasting.

• Supporting statutory compliance requirements, including BAS and other regulatory obligations.

• Processing and reviewing online banking payments.

• Assisting with corporate credit card reconciliations and expense management.

• Supporting the maintenance of financial records, including fixed assets where required.

• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

• Providing support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team with ad hoc reporting, analysis and projects as required.
