Litter Pickers

Ever wanted to get your foot in the door with an Organisation that really cares for their people? 

Perhaps you are new to the workforce or looking for a change in industry?

We are excited to offer multiple roles picking litter at the following waste facility sites: 

• Dakabin

• Bunya

• Caboolture 

Please note that pickers will be required to work across the 3 different sites listed above. So a licence and vehicle is required as there is no public transport located near our Sites.

This role requires no experience, just your commitment to do a great job and we will commit to paying a casual rate of $38.44 per hour and best of all…. you can keep your weekends, because this is a Monday to Friday job, hours being 8.00 am - 4.00 pm. Whilst is a casual position, you will receive 3-4 days work per week.

In this role, you will be working at a waste facility site, sorting through the green waste piles like a treasure hunter to unearth foreign objects (we’re talking everything from random coffee cups to the occasional left shoe). You will be playing detective to identify and remove items that don’t belong. You are literally helping save the planet (how awesome is that!) Our experienced excavator operators will be there to assist you with these tasks. 

Simply turn up, do a good job and the hours will be consistent and ongoing. For the people who wish to learn, grow and develop, we may also offer additional duties and training to increase your confidence and skillset.

Skills Required

• Physical fitness and manual handling skills (you will be on your feet all day!)

• Eagle eyes to spot every last sneaky bottle cap and stray chip packet hiding in the green waste.

• Ability to work independently

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions (Rain or shine, you will be out there fighting the good fight against litter).

• Reliable, positive can-do attitude
