About the role
This is a specification sales role focused on getting a standout façade range specified across Sydney's commercial projects, with an increasing focus on data centres and office buildings. Working closely with architects, end clients, government customers and engineers, you will build brand awareness, influence projects early and hold your specifications through to construction. 

What you'll do

• You'll spend your week on the road and on the phone, chasing projects, meeting decision-makers, and turning architect interest into secured specifications
• Maintain relationships with architects, designers and engineers, positioning you and your colleague as the trusted advisers on facade solutions
• Drive specifications across commercial projects, giving you early influence and a pipeline that holds its value over time
• Present technical, design-led products with excellent green credentials via CPD presentations and one-on-one meetings
• Use BCI to find and chase live projects, helping you get in front of the right people at the right stage, while also building a list of end clients to convert to your product in their specifications
• Follow up and hold your specifications through to construction, protecting your projects and converting early influence into secured sales

What you bring to this role

• Specification or technical sales within the building products industry
• A network of established architects, designers or engineers and construction companies
• A sound grasp of the specification sales process and the confidence to read technical drawings
• A genuine sales hunter mindset, high energy and natural rapport with A&D clients
• An inquisitive approach and very strong motivation to get in front of decision-makers.
