Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

This is a customer-facing, sales-focused role where you will work directly with customers to help them find the right golfing gear—from clothing, accessories, and beginner setups to premium equipment—while contributing to the overall performance of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Recommending and selling golf equipment, apparel, and accessories

• Restocking and assisting with the daily store operations

• Driving add-on sales, bundles, and overall transaction value

• Supporting brand and in-store sales and promotions

• Maintaining store presentation and organization

• Working towards individual and team sales targets

• Building relationships with repeat customers

About you

• Comfortable starting conversations with customers and building a natural rapport

• Takes initiative—sees what needs to be done and acts without being asked

• Balanced approach to sales and teamwork—understands that strong individual performance and supporting the store go hand in hand

• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute across all aspects of the store

• Confident communicator who can adapt to different types of customers

• Interest in golf or willingness to learn quickly

• Comfortable in an environment where no two days are the same

• Understands that working in retail requires restocking, merchandising and counting of stock on a regular basis
