Part-Time Marketing & Social Media Coordinator (Hospitality)

About the role

Working approximately 5-10 hours a week, alongside the General Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and executing Berth's marketing across social media, email, website and content. The role is predominantly flexible/remote, however on-site attendance at Berth is required approximately once a fortnight to stay connected with the venue, capture content, meet with the team and understand what's happening across the restaurant and events.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and executing a social media and marketing growth strategy

• Managing Instagram and other relevant social channels

• Creating and scheduling engaging content across restaurant, food, drinks, events and venue experiences

• Developing content plans and monthly marketing calendars

• Growing engagement, reach and brand awareness

• Marketing private events spaces and generating greater awareness of events offering

• Planning and coordinating photoshoots and content days with photographers, videographers and creators

• Identifying content opportunities, trends, partnerships and campaigns

• Creating and sending email marketing campaigns

• Updating website content through Squarespace

About you

• Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, social media or a similar role

• Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form social content

• Experience developing and executing social media strategies

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms

• Experience using Squarespace or similar website platforms

• Confidence organising and coordinating photoshoots/content creation

• Strong written communication and copywriting skills

• An eye for branding, photography, food, hospitality and social trends

• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• A proactive attitude: bringing ideas rather than waiting to be told what to post
