What You Will Do

As a Senior / Management Accountant within our CFO Team, you will partner closely with clients and Managers to deliver high quality accounting support, advisory insights and process improvements.

You will take ownership of client relationships, oversee finance operations across client portfolios and help drive smarter decision making through technology, automation and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day finance operations, including AP/AR, cash flow support and financial controls
• Review financial reports, reconciliations, and month end processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and KPI analysis for clients
• Provide commercial insights and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Support client onboarding, systems implementation and workflow standardisation across client portfolios
• Leverage cloud based systems and AI driven tools to improve efficiency and reporting outcomes
• Build strong client relationships and work closely with Managers on advisory projects and strategic initiatives
• Support and review the work of junior team members while helping manage workflow and deadlines

What You Bring

You are a commercially minded and proactive accounting professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and contributing beyond the numbers.

You bring:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within public practice or outsourced finance
• Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
• Advanced capability in Xero and cloud based systems
• Proven experience in month end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Interest in technology, automation and AI driven efficiencies
• A growth mindset focused on continuous improvement
• A client focused approach with the ability to deliver real value
• Confidence using systems, automation and AI enabled tools
