About the Role

Are you passionate about vehicles, automotive technology, and helping others succeed?

We're looking for a Product Training Specialist to join our growing team and play a key role in bringing the Geely product story to life across our dealer network.

Reporting to the National Training Manager, you'll become one of our product experts, developing a deep understanding of our vehicles, technologies, and competitive advantages. Working closely with the Product team, you'll gather and interpret product information, turning complex technical details into engaging and practical learning experiences for our dealers and sales teams.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, loves learning about new vehicle technologies, and enjoys presenting, coaching, and sharing knowledge with others. You'll work alongside our Training Specialist to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and impactful, while leading the delivery of product training for new vehicle launches, technology updates, and dealer development programs.

Key Responsibilities

Product Expertise & Content Collaboration

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of vehicle features, technologies, specifications, customer benefits, and competitive positioning.
• Build strong relationships with Product teams to gather, analyse, and translate product information into meaningful learning outcomes.
• Act as the key link between Product and Training, ensuring training materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand messaging.
• Collaborate with the Training Specialist to support the development of product training materials, vehicle walk-arounds, demonstrations, and launch content.

Training Delivery

• Deliver engaging product training programs across the dealer network through classroom, virtual, and hands-on vehicle-based learning.
• Lead training activities for vehicle launches, product updates, and new technologies.
• Bring the product story to life by demonstrating vehicle features and translating technical information into customer-focused sales messages.

Dealer & Stakeholder Support

• Build strong relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders to support capability development across the network.
• Support dealer events, product launches, and field-based learning initiatives.
• Identify product knowledge gaps and work with Product and Training teams to continuously improve learning outcomes.
• Travel interstate as required to support training and launch activities.

You will ideally possess:

• A passion for the automotive industry and a strong interest in vehicle features, technology, and innovation.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• The ability to gather, interpret, and communicate technical product information in a clear and engaging way.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Training teams.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Highly Regarded  The following would be highly regarded:

• Experience within the automotive industry, particularly with a vehicle manufacturer (OEM), dealership group, or automotive-related business.
• A genuine passion for vehicles and automotive technology, with a strong understanding of vehicle features, functions, and customer needs.While automotive industry experience is highly valued, it is not essential. We recognise that some of the strongest candidates may come from outside the industry, bringing a deep enthusiasm for cars, a self-driven knowledge of vehicle technology, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
