What Are We Looking For?

You will have demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing and a strong understanding of Australian payroll requirements. Experience using Employment Hero is highly desirable.

You will be confident working with Modern Awards, superannuation, leave entitlements, deductions, terminations, WorkCover and work-rights requirements. You will also be able to manage competing priorities, meet payroll deadlines and communicate clearly with employees, managers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Process and finalise MFS (AU)’s fortnightly payroll.

• Collect, calculate and enter payroll data and maintain accurate employee payroll records.

• Investigate and resolve payroll queries.

• Process superannuation, deductions, terminations, off-cycle payments and manual payroll adjustments.

• Manage payroll exceptions, error calculations and corrections.

• Support visa verification and WorkCover payroll processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll systems and processes.

This role will be offered on a permanent part-time basis, ~24 hours over 3 days per fortnight. The successful applicant must hold appropriate work rights in Australia.
