Automotive Technician / Accessory Fitter - American Trucks & 4WD

About the role

You'll be involved in all aspects of vehicle builds for premium American trucks and vehicles, working on Chevrolet Silverado, RAM, Ford F-Series and other high-end custom projects. You'll work alongside an experienced team in a dedicated workshop with the equipment and resources required to do the job properly.

Key responsibilities

• Suspension and lift kit installation

• Wheels, tyres and vehicle setup

• Bullbars, side steps and exterior accessories

• Driving lights and 12V accessories

• Towing and touring upgrades

• Long-range fuel tanks

• Underbody protection and off-road equipment

• General mechanical work

• Diagnostics and fault finding

• Pre-delivery inspections and quality control

About you

• Current Australian Automotive Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic qualification or similar

• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability

• Experience fitting aftermarket accessories and suspension

• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current driver's licence

• LR or higher truck licence (highly regarded)

• Experience working on American trucks (highly regarded)

• 4WD or aftermarket accessory fitting experience (highly regarded)

• Suspension and wheel alignment experience (highly regarded)
