About The Role
I am looking for a Business Services & Tax Director to take on an existing $700k fee base, with clients of genuine mid tier caliber. Equity is available once the fee base is grown to $1.5m. This role suits someone who backs themselves and enjoys business development as much as the technical work. Based in either Sydney or Brisbane.

What You Will Be Doing

• Taking ownership of an existing $700k client fee base from day one

• Managing and reviewing complex compliance and advisory work across a portfolio of business services and tax clients

• Actively pursuing new business development opportunities to grow the fee base toward the $1.5m equity threshold

• Leveraging the firm's referral program and networks to bring in new clients

• Building and mentoring a team as the client base grows

• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on tax planning, structuring, and broader commercial matters

• Working closely with partners and directors on firm strategy and growth initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• CA/CPA qualified with strong technical Business Services & Tax experience

• Proven experience managing a fee base or portfolio at a mid tier or similar caliber firm

• A genuine appetite for business development, with the confidence to back yourself and go after growth

• Strong communication and relationship management skills across client and referral networks

• Leadership experience or the readiness to lead and develop a team

• Based in or willing to be based in Sydney or Brisbane
