Senior Information Management Specialist

• Baseline security clearance required

Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on jobs is seeking a Senior Information Management Specialist to join their team in mid to late October 2026.

Duties:

• Develop and maintain definitions, preferred terms, scope notes, examples, inclusion and exclusion rules, naming conventions, and relationships for skills, broad skills and skill groupings.
• Facilitating multidisciplinary agreement on terminology, definitions and information structures, and resolving ambiguity, duplication, overlap and inconsistent use of concepts.
• Define the metadata, identifiers, provenance, concept status, quality assurance controls and governance requirements.
• Develop and implement practical methods and processes for concept creation, consultation, review, approval, versioning, release, change management, deprecation, maintenance and decision logging.
• Assess, test, configure and support the implementation of the program within taxonomy and information management software, including planning and leading the loading, administration and quality assurance of taxonomy content.
• Work collaboratively with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data structures, pipelines and analytical outputs consistently apply agreed definitions, classifications and business rules.
