We are seeking a specialist resource with experience in Hitachi MPLS-TP equipment. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the technical quality and delivery of the MPLS-TP component. This includes actively collaborating with project management, and operational teams to manage all cross-system interfaces and dependencies.

Key Requirement

The specialist resource shall develop/review/update:

• MPLS-TP Network Design
• MPLS-TP LLD
• Physical / Logical & Service mapping diagrams
• Port allocation schedules
• QoS design
• OAM design
• Synchronisation/timing design
• Management/NMS integration design
• VMR transport design
• V.28 interface integration design
• Lab BOM
• Lab rack layouts, cable scheduoes, interface drawings, test procedures and reports

The specialist resource shall:

• Attend design workshops
• Attend design review meetings
• Attend DDR sessions
• Address review comments
• Update documents
• Re-issue deliverables
• Support closure of review actions

VMR validation in lab with MPLS-TP

• Voice & Signalling Operations: Audio paths, E&M signalling, and voter operation functionality.
• Resilience & Failover: Automatic changeover capabilities, system latency, alarm triggers, and full service recovery.
• Standard Operating Procedures: Aligning lab outcomes with existing operational workflows.

• End-to-end service transport

• Configuration backup and restore
• Service restoration
• Cutover implementation plan
