Safety & Resilience Business Partner

Cirka is seeking a confident Safety & Resilience Business Partner to help lead the ongoing management of our Integrated Management System (IMS) and bring our compliance framework to life across daily operations and support functions.

Our clients include international sporting events, iconic sporting and entertainment venues, tertiary education campuses, aged care homes, healthcare facilities, premium commercial properties and national retail portfolios.

Joining our Sustainability & Resilience Team, you’ll strengthen how we work by developing clear, consistent processes and documents for our managers and supervisors. You will report into the EGM - Safety & Resilience and you will have a WHS Officer reporting into you.

 This position requires you to:

• Ensure the Compliance Framework is effectively embedded across the business along with the provision of compliance assurance activities.

• Prepare, maintain, update, and distribute compliance documents, procedures and processes to operational and supporting functions within the business. 

• Conduct Compliance and Safety Audits across Cirka’s National Portfolio

• Ongoing development and implementation of Cirka’s UVP strategy, including collaborating with business leadership team, clients, suppliers and other external stakeholders.

• Partner closely with Segment Leads to embed UVP initiatives across segments.

• Management of Sustainability, risk and compliance initiatives, driving measurable outcomes that support clients, communities and long-term business sustainability.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks within our operations and supply chain.

• Lead the delivery of requirements for Cirka’s Integrated Management System (IMS).

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with managers and teams, ensuring attendance at operational meetings (including occasional interstate travel). 

• Complete monthly review of IMS related data and complete monthly reports, including analysis, identifying trends and issues and suggested actions. 

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who brings:

• Demonstrable understanding of ISO standards and experience managing Integrated Management Systems.

• Eye for detail and a strong understanding of risk and compliance concepts. 

• Experience applying best practice compliance and risk management in an operational setting. 

• Experience working within the contract cleaning or similar service industry.

• Excellent customer service skills and experienced in working with and resolving issues for employees at all levels within the business.

• Experience in managing compliance systems (Rapid Global, Avetta, Linksafe & Mitti)
