The role

You will join our Business Services team and take ownership of a portfolio of privately owned businesses and individuals. Depending on your experience, that includes:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals

• Handling BAS and GST matters

• Tax planning and year-end strategy

• Management reporting and business advisory work

• Helping clients navigate day-to-day tax and business questions

• Liaising directly with clients

• Working alongside senior accountants and Partners on more complex assignments

• Building long-term client relationships that go beyond a single tax return

• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients

About you

You are likely a great fit if you:

• Have around 3+ years' Australian public practice accounting experience

• Have hands-on experience preparing financial statements and Australian income tax returns

• Hold a relevant accounting or commerce degree

• Are studying towards, or have completed, your CA or CPA

• Communicate well and are comfortable dealing with clients

• Take real pride in producing high-quality work

• Are organised, reliable and good at managing deadlines

• Genuinely enjoy being part of a team

• Want to keep learning and progressing professionally
