With a busy and expanding service department servicing GWM, Renault, Jeep, Chrysler, Leapmotor EVs, plus extensive Pre-Owned Vehicles, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Parts Fitment Technician to join our workshop. We're offering a full-time opportunity with immediate start for technicians who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering outstanding results.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our team, your expertise will be valued and recognised. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and systems

• Carrying out repairs, engine work, and component replacements

• Ordering parts and liaising with the Parts Department

• Completing accurate job notes and service records

• Supporting and mentoring apprentices

• Staying up to date with service bulletins and repair procedures

• Conducting test drives and final inspections to ensure work quality and guest satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking experienced technicians who bring more than just technical ability. You will be a proactive team player with a high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for automotive innovation.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Qualifications as an automotive technician (Certificate III or equivalent)

• Current driver’s licence

• Proven diagnostic and repair experience in passenger vehicles

• Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently

• High standards of safety, workmanship, and guest service

• Basic to intermediate computer skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous dealership experience

• Additional post-trade certifications

• Experience mentoring apprentices

• Hybrid or electric vehicle knowledge or certification
