Tax & Advice Specialist | $140k-$170k + Super | Build the Advisory Division

$140,000 to $170,000 plus 12% super plus bonuses. Structuring, due diligence, valuations, complex CGT and technical tax advice. No compliance queue. You would set the technical position of the firm and build a team beneath you.

The part that is genuinely different

We build our own software. You would not just give the advice, you would shape the logic inside the tools that deliver it: our CGT advisory engine, our tax planning engine with per-year rates and worked methods, our structure advisory module, our valuations tool and our buy-side due diligence desk. When your technical position changes, the tool changes that week, because our developers sit here and our accountants set the roadmap.

There are very few tax roles in Australia where you design the instrument as well as play it. This is one.

Who our clients are

Growth businesses. Owners who are scaling, restructuring, acquiring or preparing to sell, and who want strategy rather than a return in the post. We do not take passive compliance work. That means the technical questions that reach you are the interesting ones, and the answers actually get implemented.

The work

• Structuring and restructuring: trusts, companies, rollovers, asset protection

• CGT: small business concessions, Div 152, main residence, the genuinely hard ones

• Business sales and acquisitions, buy-side due diligence, business valuations

• Div 7A, s100A, UPEs post-Bendel, and telling partners when the answer is no

• Setting the firm's technical position, and building the advisory team as the division grows

You

• CA or CPA with Australian public practice tax consulting or advisory experience

• Deep enough on legislation to write an opinion you would sign your name to

• Able to sit across a table from an owner and explain it in plain English

• Big 4, mid tier or a strong SME firm. We care about the work, not the logo.

• Full Australian working rights. We are not able to sponsor.

The package

• $140,000 to $170,000 base plus 12% super, on experience

• Bonus structure on top

• Two days from home, permanently

• 2pm finish every Friday. Same 38 hours, we just front-load them, so your weekend starts Friday lunchtime.
