Senior Financial Advisor - Servicing

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a leading boutique firm in Melbourne's Inner South/Eastern suburbs inheriting an existing book of predominantly retiree and pre retiree clients. There is also plenty of scope to further grow this book via incoming leads and referrals whilst being fully supporting by internal CS and Associates.

Working closely with another senior advisor and the principal of the firm, this opportunity is a genuine client facing role servicing an enviable and established clientele providing tailored comprehensive financial advice.

About the role

To develop a long-term client base through effective relationship building, appropriate strategic recommendations and exceptional client service whilst fulfilling a fiduciary role to clients in financial advice recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Service an existing book of clients (approx 140)

• Liaise with providers, solicitors, accountants, valuers, and other professionals as required and develop referral sources in order to introduce new clients to the firm

• Assess clients' financial situations, offer strategic advice on various financial products and services, and develop personalised financial plans for individual clients

• Provide client advice following meetings, preparing strategy/recommendations for paraplanners to write, vetting advice

• Service all clients within their EFDS period and to stated service standards

About you

• Knowledge of investment and insurance products

• Extensive knowledge of financial services industry and products

• Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements

• Knowledge of taxation, estate planning, SMSF and life insurance

• Exceptional communication and relationship building skills

• 3+ years post PY experience as a financial advisor

• Desire to service, retain and build client base with long term view in mind with firm
