Skilled Office Administrative Assistant

Mussi Electrical are a highly reputable electrical company who service in residential, commercial and industrial installations within Southeast QLD.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a junior office administrator for a full time role in a fun, relaxed and close team environment located in Hnedra, Brisbane.

Candidates must have unrestricted Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities will include:

• Data Entry (basic knowledge of MYOB and XERO would be highly regarded - training shall be provided if required for right candidate)

• Administration assistance with accounts receivable/payable tasks

• Collating weekly timesheets for payroll

• Answer the phone, direct calls, callbacks, log messages and jobs

• Using proprietary software – Outlook, Word, Excel and in-house programmes

• Banking

• Reporting

• Record keeping/filing/ scanning and archiving documentation

• Assess and process progress claims / invoices

• Evaluation and agreement of variations

• Provide assistance to other team members

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have some administrative experience, attention to detail, be highly organised and attentive, have a professional approach and the ability to engage and build relationships with a range of people/stakeholders. Have problem solving and computer skills, and the ability to work in a proactive manner, training will be provided.

A minimum of 2+ years of administrative experience is required for this role.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft suits

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to negotiate, co-ordinate and work collaboratively

• Ability to deliver to strict timelines
