Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Bomaderry, NSW.
You'll work alongside experienced technicians while completing your AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, developing essential mechanical skills while gaining valuable exposure to electric vehicle systems, advanced diagnostics and modern automotive technology.
Already started your apprenticeship? Your completed training and experience can be recognised, allowing you to continue progressing towards becoming a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.

What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your current apprenticeship year and experience, you'll develop your skills in:
Servicing and maintaining electric and conventional light vehicles.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic technology.
Carrying out vehicle inspections and scheduled servicing.
Developing knowledge of electric vehicle battery and high-voltage systems under qualified supervision.
Repairing and maintaining braking, steering and suspension systems.
Using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and specialised workshop tools.
Identifying faults and developing your diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Following strict workplace and high-voltage safety procedures.
Supporting day-to-day workshop operations while progressing your trade skills.
As you progress through your apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to take on more advanced diagnostic and repair work under the guidance of qualified technicians.
About You

A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).
For 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year applicants – previous apprenticeship experience and progress towards the AUR30620 qualification.
Starting as a 1st Year? No previous automotive experience or Certificate II is required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, commitment and genuine interest in the industry.
