Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Homebush and surrounding areas, NSW.
You'll work alongside experienced technicians while completing your AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, developing essential mechanical skills while gaining valuable exposure to electric vehicles, advanced diagnostics and modern automotive systems.
No previous automotive experience or Certificate II is required. If you're enthusiastic about cars, technology and learning a trade, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside qualified and experienced technicians, you'll learn how to:
Service and maintain electric and conventional light vehicles.
Carry out scheduled servicing and vehicle inspections.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Develop your knowledge of electric vehicle battery and high-voltage systems under qualified supervision.
Assist with repairs and maintenance of braking, steering and suspension systems.
Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and specialised workshop tools.
Identify faults and develop your diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Follow strict workplace and high-voltage safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop environment.
Support day-to-day workshop operations while developing your trade skills.
As your skills and confidence grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on more advanced servicing, diagnostic and repair work under the guidance of experienced technicians.
