Pick Packing Team Leader | Meat Wholesale | Afternoon Shift 3pm-11pm

The Company:

Our meat industry partner is a well established wholesale meat business supplying quality meat products to customers across South East Queensland. With a reputation for reliability, quality and customer service, they're seeking an experienced Pick Pack Team Leader to join their afternoon shift operation based in Morningside.

The Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll lead a small team of three while remaining hands on throughout the shift. Working Monday to Friday from 3pm – 11pm, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting the afternoon shift pick pack team.

• Labelling and replenishing stock between 3pm and 6pm.

• Picking and packing customer orders from 6pm to 11pm.

• Ensuring orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time.

• Maintaining stock accuracy and inventory control.

• Ensuring food safety, quality and warehouse standards are maintained.

• Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to improve efficiency and workflow.

• Leading by example and creating a positive, productive team environment.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in pick packing within a warehouse, food manufacturing or cold storage environment.

• Experience leading or supervising a small team.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and the end to end supply chain.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• A proactive, positive attitude with the initiative to identify and solve problems.

• Strong, clear communication and organisational skills.

• A hands on leadership style with the ability to motivate and support others.

• Meat industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.

The Offer:

• Up to $80,000 + Super (depending on experience).

• Permanent full time position.

• Monday to Friday 3pm – 11pm.
