Teacher Aide - lower Primary

Kimberley College is an independent, co-educational, and non-denominational, Prep to Year 12 school nestled in a picturesque, semi-rural setting in Brisbane's Bayside.

The College is seeking a Teacher Aide for lower Primary. 

The successful candidate must possess the following requirements: 

·           Relevant qualifications IV in Education Support 

·           Demonstrate an understanding of the educational, social and emotional needs of children

·           Assist teachers and students with teaching and learning activities.

·           Display respect and empathy for all students, and especially those with additional learning needs.

·           Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families.

·           Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents

·           Be willing to take on professional development and attend team meetings as required

Ideally you will have: 

·           At least 5 years experience as a Classroom Teacher Aide 

·           Proven communication and interpersonal skills 

·           A willingness to work as part of a team 

·           You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes
