We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join our team at our Forrestfield Head Office.

About the Role

As our IT Support Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for IT support across the business, ensuring our systems, infrastructure, and users are well supported so our operations continue to run smoothly.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and continuously improving systems and processes. You'll work closely with employees, external service providers and stakeholders to deliver responsive, secure and reliable IT support across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing first-line IT support via phone, email and in person
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues
• Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices
• Managing user accounts, onboarding and offboarding activities
• Recording and tracking support requests through the helpdesk system
• Maintaining IT documentation, knowledge articles and asset registers
• Supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
• Supporting business applications including ERP systems and Autodesk products
• Assisting with multi-site infrastructure projects including networking, connectivity, CCTV and access control systems
• Liaising with external managed service providers to resolve technical issues
• Identifying opportunities to improve IT processes, automation and service delivery
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, cybersecurity practices and WHS requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Minimum two years' experience in an IT Operations or Service Desk Support role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
• Experience supporting PC hardware, servers and networking equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
• A proactive mindset with a passion for improving systems, workflows and user experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desirable

• Microsoft 365 Certifications (including SharePoint)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and Group Policy (GPO)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate
• Knowledge of networking including Wi-Fi, VLANs and IP configuration
• Experience supporting 3CX phone systems
• Experience with Sophos Antivirus and Firewall solutions
• Experience supporting CCTV and Access Control systems
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
