Accounts Payable Officer

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Utilities Division in our Brisbane CBD Office.

You'll be responsible for managing supplier enquiries, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, coordinating payment runs, obtaining invoice approvals, and supporting a range of day-to-day accounts payable activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Daily processing of invoices
• Respond to vendor enquiries regarding payments and other adhoc queries
• Reconciliations of supplier statements to invoices
• Receive incoming invoices, match up with purchase orders, code and process in to accounts system
• Prepare payments runs (weekly and adhoc as required)
• Process employee expense reimbursements and Credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with vendor set up and liaise with all stakeholders
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare accounts payable reports as required.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in the construction or Mining Industry
• Experience with Coins and/or MS Dynamics 365 (desirable)
• Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
• Excellent computer and accounting software skills
