Join our IT team as an IT Support Officer (Lvl 1) based in Thomastown. In this hands-on role, you'll provide Level 1 and 2 technical support across multiple sites, delivering excellent service while building your skills across modern technologies, cloud platforms and business systems. Ideal for someone early in their IT career, this role offers genuine opportunities to develop into Systems Administration and Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for IT support, you'll:
· Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, email and IT Service Desk platforms
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, desktop and mobile device issues
· Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID and business applications
· Configure and deploy desktops, laptops and mobile devices
· Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within SLA timeframes
· Assist with Business Central and SAP support
· Support system upgrades, patching and technology rollouts
· Create user guides, documentation and training materials
· Deliver remote and onsite support to offices, operations and farming locations across Victoria
· Work with external vendors and third-party technology providers
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and providing outstanding customer service.
· Approximately 1+ years' experience in a Service Desk or Desktop Support role
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
· Exposure to Active Directory and/or Entra ID administration
· Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
· The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
· A willingness to learn new technologies and develop your technical capability
· A current Victorian Driver's Licence
· ITIL Foundation certification (Desirable Experience)
· Experience with Halo, ManageEngine, NinjaOne, TeamViewer or similar platforms (Desirable Experience)
· Exposure to ERP systems such as Business Central or SAP (Desirable Experience)
