The Challenge

This is a hands-on, client-facing role supporting business customers across a mix of onsite and remote work. This role includes regular onsite engagement with clients, combined with remote support.

You'll be working directly with users, resolving issues end-to-end, and building your skills across modern Microsoft and security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT support to business clients

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktop, server, and network environments

• Manage tickets through to resolution with a strong first-time fix focus

• Communicate clearly with clients and manage expectations

• Maintain accurate documentation and ticket notes

• Work collaboratively with the wider support team

• Take ownership of your own learning and development

• Provide desk-side and remote support services to business customers.

• Log all customer issues, queries, and requests into the ticket management system.

• Provide server, network, and desktop technical support, diagnosing customer issues, and providing a high level of the first-time fix.

• End to end ownership of problem resolution.

• You will have a 'Hands on' problem solving approach.

• Contribute fully as an active team member, to ensure personal and team objectives are achieved or surpassed.

Technical environment

You'll be working across:

• Microsoft 365

• Microsoft Azure

• Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management

• Windows environments

• Networking (firewalls, VPNs, routing)

• IT security tools and best practices

About you

• 1–3+ years experience in IT support (MSP experience highly regarded)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and explain technical concepts in a clear, non-technical way

• Organised, reliable, and accountable

• Keen to learn and progress your career

Skills & experience

• Microsoft 365

• SharePoint

• Azure

• Intune

• Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, routing)

• Relevant IT qualification (TAFE / University) preferred
