Accounts Payable Officer

ATG is a leading commercial construction company delivering projects across Australia's east coast. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in our head office in Brisbane CBD.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play an important role in ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our finance function.

This is a part-time position (2 days per week) and is 100% office-based.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier invoices into Premier Construction Software

• Preparing and processing weekly, end-of-month and ad hoc payment runs

• Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to supplier enquiries

• Assisting internal stakeholders with finance-related queries

• Coordinating supplier bank account updates and maintaining accurate records

• Supporting office administration, including ordering stationery, amenities and office supplies

• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance across all accounts payable activities

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts, Finance or Bookkeeping role

• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience using accounting or ERP systems (essential)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

• A positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently

Desirable:

• Experience within the construction industry

• Experience using Premier Construction Software
