We're looking for a reliable, professional and motivated person to join our Greater Western Sydney team as a Mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician.

No previous industry experience is necessary—we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

About the Role

This is a mobile field-based position—not a laboratory role.

You'll travel throughout Greater Western Sydney and surrounding suburbs in one of our purpose-built mobile testing vehicles conducting workplace drug and alcohol testing at client sites.

Moderate physical fitness is required to carry out mobile testing duties and navigate various workplace environments.

Every day is different. You could be visiting construction sites, transport depots, warehouses, offices or responding to urgent workplace incidents.

You'll work independently while enjoying the support of an experienced operations team

Hours

This is a casual position suited to someone who enjoys variety and flexibility.

The role includes:

·        Early morning and daytime work

·        Some weekday evening shifts

·        Participation in a rotating after-hours on-call roster

·        Weekend availability on roster

Flexibility is important, as our clients operate around the clock and occasionally require urgent workplace testing.

Applicants who can commit to a rotating on-call roster will be highly regarded.

What You'll Be Doing

·        Conduct workplace drug and alcohol testing

·        Complete electronic documentation accurately

·        Maintain chain of custody procedures

·        Transport samples in accordance with company procedures

·        Deliver professional customer service to our clients

·        Represent TDDA NSW with professionalism at every workplace

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

·        Reliable and punctual

·        Confident working independently

·        Professional in appearance and communication

·        Highly organised with strong attention to detail

·        Comfortable using iPads, smartphones and Microsoft Office

·        Willing to complete accredited training

·        Comfortable handling biological specimens

·        Able to build positive relationships with clients

Essential Requirements

·        Current unrestricted manual driver's licence is optimal (min open auto)

·        Reliable personal vehicle for travel to and from work if required

·        Ability to work flexible casual hours

·        Ideally reside within approximately 20 minutes of Pemulwuy/Blacktown suburbs due to operational requirements

·        Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

·        National Police Check

·        Minimum age of 18 years is required for this position

·        Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required
