We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent accounting graduate, or someone nearing completion of their accounting degree, to launch their career within a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside a highly skilled and experienced accounts team. Full training will be provided, giving you exposure to the financial operations of a leading automotive dealership.

As a Trainee Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Costing motor vehicle deals & wholesale invoices

• Accounts payable duties, processing invoices, preparing vendor payments and reconciling accounts.

• Reconciling General Ledger accounts, including vehicle stock, accessories, factory claims, and warranties.

• Processing & reconciling manufacturer payments to the General Ledger.

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports.

• FBT expense preparation

• Assisting the Finance Manager with a variety of ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recent accounting degree or be close to completing one.

• A sound understanding of practical accounting principles.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Confidence communicating professionally with managers and team members at all levels.

• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and exceptional attention to detail.
