About the Opportunity

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail and contributing across the full finance function. Working closely with the finance team and CFO, you will take ownership of key month-end processes and day-to-day accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Validating and processing of supplier invoices and Budgetly transactions ensuring compliance with approval processes

  • Scheduling weekly payment runs with approval from Finance Manager/ CFO

  • Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records

  • Manage and reconcile month-end Intercompany Transactions

  • Manage fixed assets, including depreciation processes and related records

  • Manage month-end close activities, including P&L preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries

  • Support BAS, IAS and PAYG compliance activities

  • Assist with cash flow reporting and analysis

  • Assistance with preparation of workpapers for Year-end Audit

  • Provide backup Payroll/ Accounts Receivable support as required

  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and finance administration tasks



About You

You are a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership of your work.

You will bring:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, and/ or working toward CPA/ CA qualification

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting support role

  • Intermediate Excel skills including PIVOT/ VLOOKUP

  • Experience with Xero is preferred

  • Payroll experience and SCHADS Award Knowledge is desirable, if not, training will be provided

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Experience within NDIS, disability, healthcare, aged care or community services is advantageous




Compliance Requirements

The following compliance screenings are required to be obtained and maintained to fulfil the role:

  • LCS2 (Child Safety Screening) or willing to obtain

  • Paid Blue Card or willing to obtain

  • Paid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (formerly Yellow Card) or willing to obtain

  • Open QLD Driver’s Licence
