AV & IT SUPPORT OFFICER
Full Time Continuing
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The AV & IT Support Officer role provides technical and operational support for the many productions, events and presentations that occur across the College. A small number of events, such as Information evenings, presentations, and performances are held outside regular working hours for which the appointee must be available to assist. It is important that the AV & IT Support Officer be familiar with the College facilities, it’s equipment, policies, programs, services and the day-to-day schedule of College events.
The AV & IT Support Officer’s technical support also extends to the audio/visual solutions implemented within the teaching and learning spaces incorporating both hardware and software usage. Whilst not only providing AV but also IT Support as required.
The AV & IT Support Officer will work closely with the Director of IT as well as the IT Support Coordinator in planning, testing, maintaining, asset tracking and documenting processes/procedures of the systems with which they are involved.
The position requires a tertiary qualification at Certificate level or equivalent, or such knowledge, qualification and experience as are deemed sufficient to successfully carry out the duties of the position. The position is a hands-on role that requires a customer focus and a can-do attitude.
These directions will align with, and support, the vision, mission and strategic plan of the college and align with touchstones embedded in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.
