Accounts Officer

We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation with a strong reputation for quality, customer service, and operational excellence. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Accounts Officer to join their finance team.

About the Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of the accounts function while providing support across the broader finance team when required. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to strong cash flow outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts receivable processing

• Generate and issue customer invoices and statements

• Allocate customer payments and reconcile accounts

• Monitor outstanding debtor balances and proactively follow up overdue accounts

• Resolve customer account queries in a professional and timely manner

• Prepare aged debtor reports and assist with cash flow forecasting

• Assist with month-end accounts receivable reporting and reconciliations

• Assist with accounts payable during peak periods or staff leave

• Support bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations

About You

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer position

• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines

• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist across the finance function
