Glassguard is a fast-growing premium e-commerce brand selling high-quality cleaning and surface protection products across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. We sell through Shopify, Amazon, and wholesale channels and we're growing fast across all of them.
We have a talented, committed team and a strong product. What we need now is someone to own the operational backbone that supports everything they do.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on operations role sitting directly below the founder. You'll own the systems, logistics, freight, fulfilment, inventory and vendor relationships that keep the business moving — and make them better. Our Warehouse Manager leads the floor at our St Peters facility in Sydney. You own the strategy and infrastructure above him.
You'll work directly with the founder, serve as the main point of operational accountability, and report weekly. The expectation is that you drive decisions to completion — with suppliers, systems and processes — so the founder can focus on product, brand and growth.
This role is remote-friendly but requires you being open to a regular presence in Sydney — at minimum bimonthly, with more during peak periods. If you're not Sydney-based, genuine commitment to being on-site when it matters is essential.
What You'll Own
Logistics & Fulfilment
Freight and carrier relationships — performance, cost, accountability
ShipStation, ShipBob (US 3PL), Amazon FBA restocking and OOS prevention
Inventory management — stock levels, reorder triggers, lead times
Vendor and supplier relationships — drive performance and make the hard calls when needed
Systems & Process
Build and maintain SOPs for consistent operational execution
Implement systems to reduce errors, waste and stockouts
Identify and close operational gaps before they become problems
E-Commerce Operations
Support growth across Shopify, Amazon and wholesale through operational excellence
Ensure fulfilment standards protect customer experience and platform performance
Work closely with the founder on key operational decisions
Founder Enablement
Serve as the main operational point of contact — own the problems, own the solutions
Report weekly with updates, risks and decisions required
Free the founder to focus on product development, brand vision and strategic opportunities
What You Bring
Proven experience in e-commerce operations — Shopify, ShipStation, Amazon Seller Central, 3PL management
Strong freight and logistics background — you know how to manage carriers and freight forwarders and get results from them
Vendor and supplier management — you're comfortable driving difficult conversations and making tough calls
A collaborative leadership style — you bring people with you rather than push them
Inventory and stock management — you think in lead times, reorder points and risk
Proactive and self-directed — you anticipate problems and solve them without being chased
Comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you roll up your sleeves when needed
