  • Direct exposure to the senior leadership team (CFO level)

  • Strong development pathway into a Senior Accountant position
  • Supportive, collaborative finance team and company culture
  • Stable, growing business with long-term career opportunities

  • Assist with monthly management reports, including commentary and insights
  • Support the consolidation of group accounts and maintain the integrity of the general ledger across multiple business entities
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities - processing intercompany charges, cost allocations, and recharges
  • Ensure all accounting functions comply with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
  • Support year-end financial reporting and external audit processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Support cash flow monitoring and reporting, and assist with revenue recognition in line with AASB
  • Provide support across AP/AR functions when required
  • Assist in documenting finance procedures, controls, workflows, and identifying process improvements across finance operations
Skills & Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 2+ years’ experience as an Accountant or Assistant Accountant working for a Public/Chartered Firm or electrical contracting/commercial building and construction company
  • Experience in a multi-entity environment (strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience with Intercompany transactions & reconciliations, month-end processes & reporting and Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Knowledge of Australian statutory requirements (BAS, GST, compliance)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Xero, Simpro, COINS (by Aspect) or similar Accounting/ERP systems
Personal Attributes
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines, and priorities
  • Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take ownership (CFO will assign new tasks as you develop in the role)
