Part-time Accountant | Flexible Work-from-Home Role

We are a privately owned exploration company with mining and exploration tenements in Western Australia’s Kimberley region. We are seeking an experienced part-time Accountant to support group accounting, reporting and compliance.

This flexible work-from-home role is suited to a capable finance professional who can work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver accurate, timely financial information.

Key duties

·         Manage accounts payable, cash flow, payroll, and superannuation.

·         Complete month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.

·         Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets.

·         Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements for overseas and local reporting.

·         Prepare tenement cost allocation.

·         BAS, IAS, and statutory compliance reporting.

·         Prepare draft audited annual reports and annual tax provision calculations.

·         Supporting audit processes, external and internal audit requirements.

·         Coordinate with the external tax accountant to ensure that the group meet all tax obligations.

·         Maintain company registers and manage company secretarial duties.

·         Liaise with lawyers and suppliers as required.

·         Ad hoc administrative and project tasks as required.

About you

·         CPA or CA qualified with 5+ years’ post-qualification financial accounting experience.

·         Fluent in Mandarin and English.

·         Experienced in consolidations, statutory reporting, audits, and financial statements.

·         Confident using MYOB and advanced Excel.

·         Organised, detail-focused and able to work independently.
