Prosperosa is seeking an experienced and organised Administrative Officer to join our team in Darra on a full-time basis. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll play an important part in supporting our management team, maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Working closely with the General Manager and leadership team, you'll help keep our administrative processes efficient, compliant and well organised while providing support across all areas of the business.

Prosperosa is a registered NDIS provider supporting people with psychosocial disability and intellectual disability throughout South East Queensland. We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL), in-home supports, community access and group programs that empower participants to live meaningful and independent lives.

Key responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager and leadership team.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails and general enquiries professionally.
Maintain accurate participant, staff and organisational records.
Process, file and maintain electronic documentation to ensure records remain organised and audit-ready.
Assist with recruitment administration, including scheduling interviews, coordinating reference checks and preparing onboarding documentation.
Coordinate new employee onboarding and maintain compliance documentation.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and follow up action items where required.
Order and maintain office supplies and coordinate office equipment as needed.
Perform data entry across multiple systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Assist with business improvement projects and other administrative tasks as required.
Support departments across the organisation to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
About you
We're looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
You'll also have:
Previous experience in an administration or office support role.
Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint.
The ability to learn new systems quickly and confidently.
Experience maintaining electronic filing systems and databases.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and continuous improvement.
Experience within the NDIS, disability, healthcare or community services sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
