Animal Attendant

Animal Attendant (20-30 hours per week) - Multiple Roles Available

The successful candidates will be available to work on weekends, school holidays and public holidays. 

We have exciting opportunities available at Rothwell Run, our luxury pet boarding facility in Little River, Victoria. As a rapidly growing business, we’re seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and animal-loving individuals to join our dedicated team. If you’re passionate about pet care and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment – we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a high standard of care to all animals

• Handling, feeding, and medicating dogs and cats

• Cleaning enclosures and maintaining hygiene standards

• Running enrichment and exercise programs

• Monitoring and reporting animal health concerns

• Bathing and drying dogs as needed

• Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Previous experience in the pet or animal care industry

• Strong animal handling skills

• Reliability, punctuality, and a “can-do” attitude

• Great communication and teamwork abilities

• Physically fit and able to work on your feet

• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and school holidays

• Relevant qualifications will be highly regarded
