Modern Star is looking for motivated, reliable and safety focused Pickers and Packers to join our team at our Brendale Distribution Centre.

Whether you have previous warehouse experience or are looking to start a long term career in logistics, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a growing national business.

Opportunities Available

Shift: Pickers & Packers 6:00am – 1:56pm or 2:00pm – 9:56pm

These casual positions commence on Monday, 13 July 2026, offering consistent Monday to Friday work.

Successful applicants will receive casual hourly rates from $33.85, paid fortnightly, along with the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a company that values teamwork, safety and continuous development.

Working in our warehouse team you will help ensure educational resources, furniture, sporting equipment and learning materials are delivered to schools and early learning centres across Australia. Every day is varied, fast paced and rewarding.

Located just 450 metres from Strathpine Train Station, our Brendale Distribution Centre is easily accessible by public transport.

We also provide a complimentary breakfast each morning and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Receive and inspect incoming goods

• Store and replenish stock within designated warehouse locations

• Assist with inventory control, stocktakes and cycle counts

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational targets

About You

We are looking for people who are dependable, hardworking and enjoy being part of a team.

To be successful you will have:

• Be 18 years of age or older

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Excellent reliability and attendance

• The physical fitness and stamina to safely perform manual warehouse duties, including repetitive lifting, carrying, bending and standing for extended periods

• The ability to safely and consistently meet the inherent physical requirements of the role

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Basic computer literacy

• A commitment to workplace health and safety

The following would be highly regarded:

• Previous warehouse picking or packing experience

• Experience working in a fast paced distribution environment

• Manual handling experience
