Office Manager

About the role

We are searching for a highly organised and efficient Office Administrator to join our growing team at DR Smith Group in Clontarf, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of our office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to contribute to the success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Handling incoming phone calls, emails and correspondence in a professional manner

• Scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars for the service team using ServiceM8

• Raising purchase orders for materials in Servicem8

• Raising invoices when jobs are completed and receipting payments

• Liaising with external suppliers and contractors as required

• Accounts payable processing using Xero

• Payroll processing using Xero and reconciling timesheets

• Bank reconciliations and liaising with accountant for end of month reporting

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly manner

• Proficient in using ServiceM8, G Suite and Xero

• Basic user level experience with Xero accounts payable processing is required

• Prior experience with ServiceM8 software is required from the start of employment

• Basic user level experience with ServiceM8 is essential for this role

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work tasks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Australian work rights are essential for this position
